Cracked it?

I was inspired by a talk given at Camera Club via Zoom, on Macro, two weeks ago. I've had one unsuccessful attempt when it was windy and the subject kept moving, so I've had another go today when there was virtually no breeze. Even so, the photos were not natively aligned. I think the ragweed on which the caterpillar was sitting kept drooping ever so slightly between takes.

This is how I imagined it would turn out, thanks to Auto Align and Auto Blend in Photoshop.

And that macro rail that I've  had for years came into its own today.

Must take Basil out when it's cooler. He's been so patient.

Should mention that I was a couch potato this morning watching The Mandalorian on TV thanks to Chromecast.
