Two fine Cheviots

With their lovely fleecy coats these are possibly two of this year's rather grown up lambs.  I know nothing about sheep so they could be two old ewes just resting their weary legs.

Not long after I took the photo the rain started so I didn't hang around .... I was certainly the first to move. My jacket was in the boot and the rain was that very fine stuff that soaks you through in seconds .... my journey back to Glasgow was pretty miserable.

Apart from my brief stop for blip purposes I only stopped once more to nip into Blacketyside Farm Shop to buy raspberry crumb for a friend's jam making.
