Water Lilies

Out for lunch with friends today so just time for a quick visit to the Rouken Glen pond ……. not looking for birdlife today ….. my focus was on the amazing collection of water lilies. I just wish that they were a bit nearer the edge.

I chose this pink and yellow one and the red one in the extras because I thought they were more unusual.

We had some welcome rain this afternoon but it wasn’t really enough to give the garden the drink that it needs.
