Longwood Gardens

We got an early start to our day so we went to Longwood Gardens for a lovely morning stroll. This was truly a warm spring day, so enriching for the soul. Alyssa and I had a great time as long as she led the way. We stopped and spoke with many gardeners (one even had a cat named Iggy). Everyone was so happy to be there. Alyssa never stopped talking the entire time. Seriously, one long stream of thought gushed from her lips. I am hoping this is normal for a 4 year old and she'll settle down soon. Even though I would have appreciated a little peace and quiet, I really enjoyed her company.

We stopped by a friend's house for a delicious lunch and very nice visit and will be off soon for a late afternoon swim at the Y.
