I had to go to an appointment at the Western General in today’s 13 degree chill and persistent rain. T was on her way to play string duets with H. Our journey by car encountered 5 sets of temporary traffic lights and one complete closure near the WGH! The return journey was gridlocked by the disruption caused by the tram extension work. The only “consolation” is that Edinburgh’s festival traffic is absent this year.
