Three stages

The three stage of a poppy's life. The bud, the flower and the seed head.

At Shetland Wool Week last year fellow blipper Miss Gable gave me a plain brown envelope containing opium poppy seeds! I scattered them all over the garden and now I have them coming up all over the place, in amongst all the beds and borders!

So wonderful to see them, all my favourite colours and a lovely reminder of a Miss Gable and Lady Findhorn, who was in Shetland with me.
