Female Black Swallowtail

We are starting to see a few more butterflies in the garden finally. This beauty came along and stayed for quite a while sampling the flowers on the Buddleia.

It was another scorcher today and was the 27th day this month that we have hit over 90 degrees, breaking a record. We are hoping for a break on Friday. 

Our days are very busy for a change, as we try to keep our little granddaughter entertained and away from her parents as they try to work. We are having a wonderful time.
