Flower Friday.

One of my favourite late summer flowers.
This Japanese anemone brightens up the border. However it is spreading so will have to pull some up next year.

We had the weather that was predicted.
31C and sun, sun, sun.
Have enjoyed a BBQ along with a very nice bottle of Cote de Rhone rose from M&S.

As we are in Kirklees we are now in the new Lockdown area.
No visits to our family, or people visiting us at home, even in the garden.
I understand why this is necessary. Hope the figures come down soon, and we can get back to “ normal “.

It has been too hot for me in the sun, but fortunately we have a shady patio, and much cooler inside.
I don’t think it is going to last for the weekend.
