Froglet (Rana temporaria )

According to the met office today was to be a one day heatwave.  Well it certainly was hot!  The morning was Clickychick's couch to 5k run so I was out on the bike.   I must be getting old!  It was hard work!

I started the afternoon by visiting Kanyl and while wandering round the garden I spotted this little froglet peeping over the edge of a lily leaf.  It must be one of this years crop as it was only about 1 cm (½ inch) and there were still four legged tadpoles with tails in the pond.  From there it was down to the dentist to have a lost filling replaced.
