In the pink

I thought we would be visiting our local beach for a dip this afternoon but it clouded over and we had some spots of rain. Then the wind started getting up so I resorted to blipping a little bunch of cosmos that I picked a few days ago. The local roads were packed with cars, people were driving around at 12.30 looking for that elusive space. 
We are going to meet up with our eldest son and family tomorrow who have driven over from Switzerland today for a quick visit.
