cheeky!

here she is - the promised cheeky, sleepy angel from the graveyard. she is quite small, only about 15 inches high, and is just on her own under a tree, she doesn't appear to be related to any grave. The sensuous pose and - er - perky bottom - don't seem to square with an angel somehow. To me it has a resonance of the pre-raphaelites, so perhaps it dates from the early part of the last century.

spent some time this morning taking some macro fruit shots for a flickr challenge, then set off up the back road of the house, which only leads to the new school and to a short cut to the main road called 'dead man's lane', because it runs aolngside the cemetery. had to get to the sorting office before it shut at 12 to collect my BGT -big girl's tripod- that the postie tried to deliver at 7.30am!!! so will have some fun over the weekend!!

off out for another restaurant meal tonight, no wonder I haven't lost any weight this week. this one has been booked for a long time, friends I only see twice a year. next week should be quieter, but think it will have to be sunny salad weather before I can shift the last few pounds.
