not what I planned..

a quick blip of snowdrops growing up through our gravel path. I planned to spend the afternoon playing with the new tripod and maybe some water shots. But the wind was taken right out of our sails this morning - again - with the news that a very good friend's daughter has had a stillborn baby girl. Instead of happy news of the arrival of baby Callie that we were expecting any day, we are mourning the life she will never have.
