No more beach

Today we started our virtual 24hr race. The idea is to run/walk for 24 hrs over the coming week and I'm aiming to run as much as possible but don't think I'll make 24hrs. As it's a big challenge I'm also raising some money.
We went to Tentsmuir and I ran along the edge of the forest and then the beach until I could go no further. As the Leuchars base runway is just off to the right of the pic I had to turn round and retrace my route a bit until I could get round the other side, then it was paths and rides through the forest and dunes. 
Lots of flowers and butterflies but hardly any people except near the busy carpark (where there was also a rescue going on of someone who's hert their leg (I think) at an awkward place on the beach).
Mr Rat has gone out for a walk to add some minutes but I wasn't organised to go out
Didn't quite make my target of 2 1/2 hrs but a good start - but can I keep it up? 
The extra is a "vehicle" I passed.
