Day 132 Still socially distancing

Today was rather cloudy but still extremely warm.  This of course, is the real reason that Peggy Sue has chosen to sit outside on the window ledge, rather than any awareness of social distancing!
In other news: we were informed that pubs 'or other activities' might have to close again in order for schools to reopen in September.  Violet doesn't personally visit pubs, but I suppose that school staff might.  It is certainly true that some pubs quite near to us are seen filled with non socially distancing young people and Daughter #1 tells me especially so tonight when Arsenal were playing Chelsea, as she was dropping off her partner to a friend's house  for a games evening in his garage.
