Coneflower Impressions

The Maryland Photography Alliance, an organization of all the camera clubs in Maryland, has been fabulous at setting up education sessions online with renowned photographers from all over the country.  Last week, Charles Needle did a session on Impressionistic photography, a subject that I enjoy and dabble in occasionally.  

Charles recommended a couple of phone apps that I had some fun with.  This shot was taken with AvgCamPro and is an 8 shot multiple exposure of my white coneflowers.  I did a little faffing after bringing it into LR and PS and was fairly happy with the results.  Unfortunately, Sony doesn't do multiple exposures, so it is nice to have this option on my iPhone 11 ProMax. 

Otherwise, it was a welcome rainy day and most of it was spent on the porch, enjoying the cooler temperatures.  

We now have a hurricane headed this way.  Right now it is supposed to dump 5-8 inches of rain on us on Tuesday.  Florida is under hurricane/tropical storm warnings  so they have to deal with this as well as the raging pandemic.  Seems like piling on.
