Walked from Cadamstown following a 7 km loop walk, much of it by the Silver River. It started and ended wet but the rest of it was dry and even sunny, great mix of terrain and the dog was in heaven, especially in the river and then rolling in unidentifiable greasy dead things. Passed fields full of cob mares and foals, all looking very healthy and happy, the extra is of a handsome inquisitive foal with a big roman nose. 
Hubs is wearing his abomination feet and is rapidly adapting to not wanting to put anything else on! 
Called in at Kinnitty Castle to check out the outdoors newly named ‘ antisocial cafe‘. It was rammed with walkers and mountain bikers , shame as a plate of chips and coffee  was just I wanted . Home to healthier options instead. Very happy day.
