Waves of green

A short walk round the reservoir early evening. The many shades of green reeds and grasses looked like waves and the light breeze caused ripples across the whole space.
I am always amazed by the ever changing light and textures here. We also found a duck with a late brood of ducklings ! So beautiful they were and the picture is included as an extra.
I spent quite a bit of time cooking meals for the freezer whilst listening to an audible book called Stars at Night by Paula D'Arcy.
