Polly

With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to our beloved Polly today. She left us peacefully, in the garden on a calm and sunny Summer’s day.

Polly came into our lives as a rescue dog 11 years ago and brought a few issues with her, resulting, I’m sure, from bad treatment during the first four years of her life. She settled down, though, and thrived in a loving environment, and it makes me so happy that for most of her life she knew what it was like to be loved. She gave us lots of love back and many laughs too. It would be nice to think that she’s now been reunited with Basil. Rest in peace, Pol xx
