Lambs in August

This little flock greeted me as I entered John Lewis for the first time since lockdown. Rather sad and poignant really, there were Easter chicks and bunnies too, all on sale, stranded in the spring by the pandemic. I do hope the shops survive, it was all very civilised and well organised, but I find masks so off putting. Anyway, my shopping score was a one all draw - got my new iPhone but the laundry basket selection didn’t appeal. Spent the afternoon gardening to recover from the trauma of shopping.
