Lansendi

Time to move on. After breakfast in the drizzle, we packed up the wet tent, and headed Further north, Where the forecast looked better. It was better, just before the Hildurgarda pass, we had a lovely walk along the estuary and out to some lovely coloured cliffs at a place called Lansendi. Driving over the dirt road pass was amazing, from sea level to 650m, with scenery constantly changing. Found a very nice cafe in Vopnafjodur, and had an early dinner. Pretty chilly, about 9 deg max. Spotted a little thermal pool down the valley next to river Selar, Selardalslaug, so stopped for a swim. Then we headed to the remote Bakkafjorfur campsite, very quiet and very windy, but dry at least.
