Wet Sodden
I felt I had to go out today, a bit of indecision, but in the afternoon I walked down into Corstorphine. Had a walk around St Margaret's Park, which I've missed for so long. Only person having a walk around the park, a few folk cutting through the park on the main paths.
Lots of rowan berries getting ready, good show of berries on the lime trees, not many forming on the yew trees yet, cones forming on the alders.
The roses were looking lovely despite the rain. Lots of bee loving flowers getting ready awaiting a better day.
Spotted a 'Hello' flag in the park, which is part of a remote Arts Festival as main Arts Festival had been cancelled earlier this year. So all over Edinburgh there are 'Hello' flags to find & see.
Walk through the Church yard which as meadow flowers planted by Corstorphine Village Playgroup.
Bought myself flowers & bottle of elderflower presse in memory of Mum.
Extra: the line of trees along one of the cut through paths which you very rarely can photograph without folk in it, but because it was so wet not many folk around.
