Frog

I saw several frogs today and lots of toads. More toads than I have ever seen before. Also saw a couple of newts. Then this evening I met up with B by the canal. We walked along for a while. B saw a kingfisher twice but I didn’t see it at all. I did see a green woodpecker though and some swallows diving down for insects. A good walk, the dogs had lots of sniffs along the way and Charlie did the usual detour over the bridge so I had to go over and encourage him to come back again. He has gone a bit deaf.
