A bit bedraggled

We walked by the canal at Edstone aqueduct this evening. It has to rate as one of the wettest canal walks we have done. We were all togged up in our rain gear though and the dogs are happy going on a walk whatever the weather. It was an amazing day for wildlife though. First we spotted one kingfisher and then another. They were headed up the canal and flying in front of us then they would stop in the bushes and then fly off again. We even spotted a third kingfisher. We followed them a long way up the canal. We also saw a hare, a heron, a buzzard, some swallows and the pair of swans too.
