Bridge View

Another wet day today - although not as windy as yesterday - so we stayed put, reading, garden wandering (at Bailey's behest) and a trip into Beaumaris for a little bit of shopping at a favourite artist's shop and gallery. Prints resisted but I did buy some cards and a little glass vase. 

The weather had brightened by the time Bailey required his post-tea walk and our plan changed when we realised how much better it was and headed up to the bridges. The light was not the same further up the road and there was no sign of the red squirrels in the woodland but the stuctures and the colour of the water were worth the trip. This view is from the same angle as the print in my current bedroom by the favourite artist but the colours reflect a different season.
