Grim

The weather was grim.
The drive through grim dull towns was grim.
Gort was pretty grim, apart from the tasty lunch from the Gallery cafe.
But things started to look up after that. It was dry, the sun came out, a promise of an evening swim in the sun at high tide.
Then it turned grim again once I opened my front door and got a funny smell. The freezer had defrosted some time ago. Meat and fish juice welcomed me home.
I have a big freezer, which was full of good food, lots of homemade soups, stocks, dinners etc, not to mention all the meat and fish.
I worked hard at separating out the rubbish. I did some cleaning and headed in to town with Mowgli for a bite to eat. A sad takeaway pizza was all I could get, everywhere was so full and busy.
But it all worked out in the end, and this was the evening view. I chose to share this one instead of some of the grim photos I had taken along the way.
Tomorrow is another day.
