Lorraine & Emily

Lorraine and Emily have checked into an Airbnb here in Saltdean for a few days so when I finished work at lunchtime I went to meet them.

We walked along the Undercliff to the marina where we sat and had a glass of one in one of the few places we could find. It’s heartbreaking to see how many places along the boardwalk have closed down. Presumably as a result of lockdown. The only places open along the boardwalk were Wetherspoons, Pizza Express, Nando’s and Prezzo. Other places within the marina villlage were open too, but it’s definitely been hit badly.

After our drink we walked the three miles back and Lorraine and Emily cane for dinner in our garden.
