Your Paintings

A bit late in the day I discovered that the Cuilfail chalk cliffs near Lewes would be one of the 28 locations around the UK where - for a few hours only - huge oil paintings would be projected to celebrate completion of the BBC website supposedly showing the "entire" national collection of oil paintings. Nipped down to Lewes and spent ages stumbling around in the dark and mud of the Railway land nature reserve trying to find a good spot opposite the cliffs to view the show. Its probably difficult to grasp how enormous this projection is - think tennis court or maybe football pitch. L. S. Lowry of course - with added chalk texture courtesy of the South Downs.
