The long but good Thursday.

Up after 6 to help Her pack, out at 7 to kiss Her tenderly afore bidding her bon voyage in her boat / bus / train jaunt back to Embra. 

Back up to the hoose to make sure they'd scrubbed behind their ears prior to inspection by IainfaeCreel. A pleasant morning was had (by us, anyway.  He got a good grilling by Tom on all manner of subjects. Mostly he passed with flying colours but may need to resit the paper on xbox games)

After lunch we hit the Hope...the laddies met up with their peddie cousins in the park in blistering sunshine. Their faither retrieved them once he had finished the carpentry and we rounded the day off with a dook at the Sands of Wright. 

I'm about ready for bed as the sun sets over Scapa Flow.
