Gallanach next to the ‘Puffin Dive centre‘

A day in Oban to collect some bags of compost and do some shopping. The weather was perfect, the town wasn’t too busy with a happy, holiday atmosphere all around us. We had taken a picnic lunch and having finished all the chores drove along the road opposite the island of Kerrera to a car park which turned out to be alongside the puffin dive shop. A pleasant area that has not been overly developed, we sat eating, relaxing and watching a variety of activities out on the water.

A good day out and nothing like as stressful as the first shopping trip a few weeks ago. Living in this idyllic bubble is wonderful but I can see it’s important not to be too Isolated for too long.
