Whale of a time!

Couldn’t resist going whale watching again, this time we went to a different fjord, from Hauganes. Weather turned out dry, we even had a little sun. But the whales! Wow! Lots of close encounters, but mainly blowing, breathing, 3 times, then diving so we could get a look at their huge tail fins.
We went to Akureyri for the evening, forecast terrible so stayed at the City Guesthouse which was very nice, cheap only 50 euro per person with breakfast. We went to the city swimming pool in the evening, another treat, 2 heated outdoor pools plus 4 different hot pots of varying temperatures.
Had a drink in a bar, haven’t done that since February!
