Skeid

Quite a funny morning, still wet in Akureyri, so we went to spend sometime at the bookshop. Great one, with cafe, but 5 mins in, the power went off. It was off in the whole town. We could pay with cash, then went for a look at the Botanical Garden. It was really beautiful, green, with areas of beautiful flowers, and an Arctic and Iceland wild flower section.
Still the power was off, so drove up to Dalvík. Waited in the car in the rain for the electricity to come back on for another hour. Now we could go food shopping, and go to the cafe!
The rain stopped, forecast was for a sunny evening. Found a great tiny campsite, up the valley surrounded by1,200m mountains.
Hade a hike up to a lovely lake, and the sun did come out!
