Bumper crop

Day off today and it was a scorcher. I was determined not to go into work after the last few weeks. I had a walk first thing and spotted the blackberries were ripe so after a quick cup of tea went back with a few empty boxes. First location was too difficult (as usual) was wearing the wrong shoes! I drove to another location and it was easy peasy. Why does nobody else pick blackberries - there were so many!

I got them in the freezer when I got home and will look forward to blackberries with Greek yoghurt, crumble and hope to make some bramble jelly too.

Daughter home this weekend so I hope to take her with me to pick some more!
