Opting out

Dull cloudy skies at 8 am but happily quickly replaced with lighter cloud, blue patches and sunshine .
Today has been a garden day , I cut the grass whilst Dave cleaned the toothed blade of the hedge trimmer with his flat file. 
I was then ready for my lesson in using the petrol strimmer to cut the long grass on our pen . By the time I had followed instructions on what to wear , tried on the earphones and goggles I had lost all confidence and quit !
So glad l didn’t persevere as the motor kept cutting out and it all seemed very dodgy . Plus , a local tomcat that believes our pen is his toilet had left a hidden gift which got caught up and splattered on to my beloved . 
In gratitude to Dave for, not only strimming the grass, taking the hit  and also for cutting the lengthy hedge I have blipped a picture of him . I will now produce a tasty tea whilst he has a well deserved shower !
