Dragonfly
FIrst service back in church today and I was taking it. On Thursday we'd carefully arranged chairs and tables at least 2m apart to be extra safe and then on Friday we were told we would have to wear face coverings so we could have had a bit closer fellowship! For music we had a mixture of YouTube and a live pianist with the hymn words on the screen and it seemed to go okay for a first effort.
It was good to be back and meet people and the good weather meant we could have a bit of a chat outside.
Then to Carnoustie for some emergency babysitting for the boys whilst little sister went on an early birthday treat with a friend. They were supposed to be staying at their other grandparents for a few days but had hardly arrived when grandad was admitted to hospital for an emergency op. He's now started recovery but it will be a while before thay can go and stay.
To oass the time, and stretch some legs, we went fishing in a pond on the golf course - see extras for some of what we found and caught.
The dragonfly kindly landed on the path, I don't know what it is and am too lazy to get the book to look it up.
The knee is much better but both of us are feeling weary today - I wonder why?!
