Parking charges

We had a drive out to Belvoir Castle this morning, unfortunately it was very busy. We like the coffee cabin at the castle entrance, outdoor seating with nice views. It was interesting listening to people parked complaining that charges are going to be made for parking in the future. Looked like many of those parked were not visiting the castle or using the coffee shop, some walking or having picnics, this is private land so I don’t understand why we shouldn’t pay if we want to use the facilities. There was a sign in the carpark saying not to park near the helipad this afternoon as it would be in use, funny thing is we couldn’t work out where it was and thought perhaps it was the overflow park as there was a wind sock.
Not really done much this afternoon, bit of housework and cooked dinner and had a good hour reading. Hot again this afternoon so walked Hetty early and then after dinner.
