Ecoventures returning to port

Another brilliantly blue day so I took the Norwestie for her walk (for me) comparatively early. I got lost in picture taking around the harbour, The dog was on a very long lead, but every time I was about to press the shutter was the moment she chose to yank my wrist. Still, it was her walk.

Ecoventures is a lovely local business, taking visitors out into the Cromarty Firth and beyond in search of marine life. I won't go into detail here, because you can google them, I tracked this rib coming in to time the right shot, and suddenly got more fascinated by the foreground interest than the original subject. Don't ask me what was moored below, though. I'm not sure I even looked. I do know yesterday's sand eels where still there.

The afternoon was mowing grass which, due to a combination of weather and prior commitments, had not been cut for three weeks. It was nearly as long as my hair, itself uncut for weeks. The mower is great, but every ten yards or so I had to trudge to the compost heap to empty more cuttings out. I did a lot of steps today.

There remains twice as much to do tomorrow, but luckily that was cut more recently.
