Ebb & Flow
I love Kiwi winters! 4c this morning, slight frost and crisp and clear, rising to a sweltering 16c by the afternoon - layers were being shed left right and centre. Impossible to stay in so we went for another long walk, a local one today - along the beach, out to the marina where we picnicked on a rock watched by a very smart cormorant, and then back along the beach and round the ancient cemetery. I paddled all the way and it almost felt warm, the water so clear.
A flying visit by Esme and Joe on their way back from nursery. Time for a quick read and an admire of her new wellies - or gummies I should say. She takes after her Momo for sure!
