A not so quiet afternoon

Not what I was looking for after the funeral of an old friend.

Since I couldn't go to the water basin in the morning and because the house was/is so hot, I thought I could just as well go there in the early afternoon heat, cool off and spend a few hours reading on the bench under the big tree in the picnic area. The tree was there and so was the bench and the water was refreshing. But too many people, too many wasps.
I may have to rethink my holiday plans.
