Tiny beastie on a thistle planet

This afternoon I drove from Sheffield to North Aston (Oxfordshire) to spend a couple of days with Ruth (daughter), her partner Josh & their 2 sons (Eben and Luca). I'm partly here to help with E and L while J and R plan their impending move to Sheffield.
They hope to be settled - or at least partly settled - in time for E to start school in early Sept. That's just 3 weeks away..! It will be a stretch. We'll give it our best shot. Covid permitting of course...that just multiplies the uncertainties.
Early this eve I wandered around their wild, chaotic and fruitful garden. And admired this delicate thistle head and its visitor.
