The lovely scenery and quiet country roads make this area popular for outdoor activities like walking, running, cycling and pony-trekking.

Having enjoyed a (hopefully horse-free) lasagne lunch with friend Alison in The Clachan, I am now watching the Scotland v Italy match, which seems to be going Scotland's way for a change. Hooray!
