Thunderstorms

Like so many - we were treated to an amazing display of lightning through the night. I spent over an hour photographing it. The vast majority were bright sheets of lightning - often really overexposing my photos. I did however, get about 5 shots with forks of lightning on them. This was my favourite, with the fork so close to the top of Grisedale Pike. 

The lightning continued through the night, with the rain arriving around 1am. Not the best night's sleep, but what a light show!
