Cooling Off

Another scorcher was predicted so we set off at 7am to avoid the multitudes of tourists 
Driving the van down to the South Hams was a bit risky as the lanes are VERY narrow but I wanted to get used to it before our few days in Cornwall next week. Can't say I slept well last night fretting about meeting a combine harvester or suchlike, but I needn't have worried as we had a clear run.
The temperature was already climbing at 8am and these two girls, who live in the field at the back of the beach at South Milton Sands, were already cooling off.
Walked to Hope Cove and back along the coast path before settling down on the beach.
Jorgie for once, was well behaved and she enjoyed lots of opportunities to swim and cool off.
