Siglufjordur

Great day for touring around the Trollagsi peninsular. A bit of drizzle, but mainly the mountain tops were clear. Went to Olafsfjordur then up to Siglufjordur, using the pass road, and not the huge long new tunnel. The sun was out for a while in Egilsstadir, when we were here 6 years ago, we didn’t see much, it was very wet and misty. Had a late lunch, a delicious pizza at one of the lovely renovated fish sheds, then carried on back south. Had a swim at the Hofsos pool, lovely and quiet swim, in 35 deg water, infinity pool overlooking the fjord. It was really windy, but still lovely. Then it really started to rain. Found a very nice forest campsite, it continued to rain the whole night long.
