Splendid day

Did a long hike today, 17km 850m up a valley, onto the Heljarheidi pass. Lots of snow fields, which were great to slide down. At the top there was an Iceland hiking club hut. We decided to stay another night, it was really warm and we could cook and eat outside. I got the washing done, at the super facilities, and it dried overnight in the drying area. Had a little whisky outside, with the most spectacular sunset at 10.15pm.
