The Queen’s Gallantry Medal!

I received this through the post today!  I’m sure I know who sent it!  It did make me laugh!  Poor Ro!  

At work they used to play all sorts of tricks on each other!  Once they changed the word ‘the’ to S***.  So every time this typist typed ‘the’ , S*** came up!  The Poor woman couldn’t  understand What was happening and blamed her keyboard!  ( The downside of that joke was that a couple of letters went out to clients before she realised! 

Another time they told a colleague they had bought new fish food. It was much cheaper but they could only feed the red pellets to the fish  in the office, so had him sort out all these tiny multicoloured pellets!   

Ro worked for a cable company and someone was told that cable was needed for a country with high mountains and said the cable had to be flung across a gorge.  They had an Olympic javelin thrower to throw it.  Could they make the cable lighter and with fins to help it fly through the air, and how much would this cost!  Apparently the poor guy worked it all out before suspecting a hoax!  

The girls were here today.  We had two treasure hunts one organised by Ro and Little Missy for Grand baby and myself and then we prepared one for them.  They do love these treasure hunts!  

Yesterday was quiche Lorraine for lunch. Today was tuna fish salad with bowls of different ingredients to choose from!  

The girls have been picked up and Ro is making our meal.  We will do our walk after dinner.  It will be cooler then!
