Bateel

After a productive morning for both of us, we went out in the cool of the evening. With our current humidity levels, temperatures are 38 but feel like 59. Going out after sunset definitely helps.

We were going to dine at the Biker's Cafe but discovered it was closed when we got to it. They are open over lunch, which was embarrassing because G had suggested we go for lunch rather than dinner. I said it was crazy going out at that time.

Anyway, we were there and wanted some dinner, so we decided to eat across the road at Cafe Bateel. Haven't been here since this time in July 2018. The Mall was the busiest I've seen it. The food was delicious. We should have popped into Spinneys next door but as it so happens, there is a proper butcher in the mall so it saved us a trip. Interesting too to see so many businesses closing by 9 or 10 pm. It's unheard of in Dubai.
