It's the little things...

Work today was hard, really hard. And very very hot. It's been so humid and there's just no relief, especially in full length gowns, face masks, visors and 2 pairs of gloves.
The other nurse I was working with today went to the shop on her lunch break and treated us both to a chocolate bar. Much needed!
After a debrief with mum via phone on the way home (I always debrief with mum, I keep it confidential, but sometimes you just need to talk to someone who understands. Ben hates listening to anything to do with my work) I got straight in the shower.
Then I gave both my babies a massive cuddle and lots of kisses, something I never do if they're already in bed.
