Honestly mummy, I'm not tired...

Chloe didn't wake up this morning until after Ben left for work. She was very sad, shouting 'dada' and looking for him; she cried when I told her he was at work!
It was hot and humid today, so we had quite a lazy morning, playing outside and doing some reading.
After lunch I tried to put Chloe down for a nap - she nodded when I asked if she wanted one and said bye to Thomas and Mika. But she wouldn't settle. She just cried and cried and got herself all hot and worked up.
I brought her back downstairs after numerous attempts to lie her back down and she sat on the settee watching frozen 2. She didn't move for the entire film, but she didn't go to sleep!
This afternoon we went back into the garden, stopped briefly by a downpour which came from nowhere.
