Day 2 in Courchevel

Each night one class went on a walking tour of Courchevel where they learned about the history of the resort, trail grooming, and visited some chalets that are classed as historic monuments. This chalet is classed as a historic landmark in France and it was one of the first built in Courchevel. It's made of wood (whole tree trunks!) and stone with tiny shuttered windows facing the north and great big windows and balconies facing the south. There were a couple of others that we visited also, but we cut the tour short because of how snowy and windy it was.
