Grand Entrance
A walk to Balboa Park brought us across the Cabrillo Bridge, the grand entrance of the 1915 Panama-California Exposition, the event that created most of the stunning architecture in the park. The bridge and the California Tower, which stands 208 feet tall and can be seen from the roof of the condo at which we stay while visiting San Diego, CA, do make for a most spectacular entry into the park over 100 years later. I was going with my usual vertical shot until the square thumbnail showed a more balanced composition.
